Sheese Mild Cheddar Style Grated 200g

Our Grated Mild Cheddar style Sheese is a dairy-free alternative to a mild white grated Cheddar cheese and serves as a convenient counterpart to our block and sliced varieties.

This is the perfect topping for delicious vegan pizzas, especially if you’re someone who likes their pizza topping cheese a little stronger than our milder flavored Grated Mozzarella! Coming as it does in our handy resealable pouches, you’ll find it is an absolute all-rounder for any dishes requiring a “mid-range” dairy-free vegan cheese, being in strength somewhere between our Mozzarella and Mature Cheddar flavors.

Now, the most important question is “does it melt?”, to which the response is a resounding “yes!” Gone are the days where grated vegan cheese just sat disappointingly on top of your pizza, going hard and brown and looking rather sorry for itself, without a hint of actually melting. Our Grated Mild Cheddar Sheese is the real McCoy. Of course, like our other grated Sheese it can also be sprinkled over salads for a far tastier summer (or winter) salad.

Another thing you may like to try is the American style snack “cheese and chips”. Not to be confused with deep-fried chips (or “fries” if you’re American, although we’re used to that expression in the U.K. too anyway.) This really refers to tortilla chips (most “chips” are actually called “crisps” in the U.K.). Anyway, down to business, simply spread tortilla chips on a plate and sprinkle grated Sheese over the top. Place in a microwave for about a couple of minutes or so, bring out, leave to cool and crisp up for 5-10 minutes and serve, simple! These are great as a party snack, or when you’re having your own “personal party” chilling in front of the T.V.
